Clarissa Cawaling FNP, MSN, BSN, ASN, is a dedicated nurse professional at Apple Urgent Care in Colton, Coachella, Moreno Valley, Hemet, San Jacinto, Perris, Riverside, Indio, and San Bernardino, California.

Clarissa began her academic journey by earning an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from Los Angeles Trade Technical College. She then continued her education with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Western Governors University, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from United States University

Clarissa brings a wealth of experience to her role, having worked as a wound care nurse for 5 years, where she developed specialized skills in managing complex wounds. She then spent an extra 5 years as a registered nurse in Med/Surg/Tele, providing comprehensive care in various settings. For the past 2 years, she has been applying her expertise as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in urgent care, where she continues to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

She has been nominated numerous times for the DAISY Award, reflecting her exceptional dedication and contributions to patient care. Additionally, she is actively involved in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), further demonstrating her commitment to advancing the nursing profession.

Clarissa was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare by her deep passion for helping people improve their well-being and feel better. Her commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others has driven her throughout her career, reflecting her genuine dedication to enhancing patient health and comfort.

Clarissa is fluent in both English and Tagalog.

Outside of work, Clarissa cherishes spending quality time with her family and watching her daughter grow up. She also enjoys bowling and singing karaoke.
