Ritu Thapa Magar, FNP-C, is a dedicated nurse professional at Apple Urgent Care in Colton, Coachella, Moreno Valley, Hemet, San Jacinto, Perris, Riverside, Indio, and San Bernardino, California.
Ritu began her nursing education at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). After gaining 12 years of experience as an orthopedic nurse, telemetry nurse, and medical-surgical nurse, she decided to further her education. In 2023, Ritu completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Azusa Pacific University, where she was awarded the Best Student Award.
As a dedicated family nurse practitioner, Ritu is committed to offering comprehensive healthcare services to individuals of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. Her extensive experience and dedication to patient-centered care enable her to address a wide range of health concerns, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and compassionate treatment.
Ritu’s inspiration to pursue a career in the medical field came from her aunt, who was a dedicated remote healthcare worker in Nepal. Ritu fondly remembers her childhood, listening to her aunt’s stories about the profound impact she had on the lives of people. Her aunt’s hard work and the gratitude expressed by those she served left a lasting impression on Ritu, motivating her to follow a similar path in healthcare.
Ritu is fluent in Hindi, Nepali, and English.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cooking, participating in Zumba, and gardening.
